Year 10 and 11 Revision for the New GCSE History Course 2016-2017

Welcome to the revision page for GCSE History. Below is a break down of the three papers pupils will take at the end of Key Stage Four. If you scroll further down, you will find more information about the five topics that we currently study.

OCR SHP GCSE B

The GCSE History course you are studying is made up of five different studies which are shown in the table below. There will then be three exams at the end of Year 11.

Paper 1 - (1 and 3/4 hours)     -   British Thematic Study  - Crime and Punishment   = 20 %

                                                            British Depth Study - The Elizabethans = 20%

Paper 2 - (1 hour)                         - History Around Us = 20%

Paper 3 - (1 and 3/4 hours)        - World Period Study - The Making of America = 20%

                                                           - World Depth Study - Living Under Nazi Rule = 20%
